Information Technology Projects and Status

Classroom Upgrade Project

Information Technology at the College of Charleston has embarked on a major project to upgrade the technology in the classrooms.

Network Equipment Replacement

An upgrade of the equipment that connects the campus community to the College network is well underway.

Wireless Upgrade

The current campus wireless network will be upgraded and expanded throughout the campus buildings and exterior areas with a reliable 802.11n wireless solution that has sufficient capacity and functionality to meet the needs of campus students, faculty, and staff.

Internet Upgrade

The College of Charleston completed a major internet upgrade that began in July 2012.
