Domain Name System (DNS) is a system that translates a computer's fully qualified domain name (e.g. www.cofc.edu) into an IP address. Information Technology is responsible for domain names associated with the College of Charleston's domain cofc.edu and its resources. Inquiries or requests regarding DNS may be directed to dns@cofc.edu. Please refer to the DNS Policy for guidelines and naming conventions.
