 Student Web Space
If you are experiencing trouble publishing Web pages, check the following:
- Ensure your COUGARS account is activated. You can check this at the Student Computing Support desk in the library.
- Make sure you are using a Secure FTP program to publish. Old programs, such as WS_FTP, will no longer work as they support an older, less secure version of the FTP protocol. The College has instructions on setting up FileZilla.
- Verify your settings. Ensure you are using students.cofc.edu or stu.cofc.edu as the server address.
If you continue to experience difficulties, contact Student Webpage Support with a description of the problem.
